    Where you elect to receive such material from any of the partners of this Travel Offset Project such as myclimate, Ben & Jerry’s and Native Energy, the relevant partner will from time to time send you information and/or offers about its goods and/or services which it believes may be of interest to you. At any time, however, you may unsubscribe from (“opt out” of) such future contact.

Purpose for the collection of your credit card information is as follows:

On this website also credit card information is collected. The company Datatrans AG (Zurich, Switzerland) collects this information. This company specialises in online payment transactions and runs a system enabling payments to be conducted quickly and with the highest degree of security.

III Keeping your information secure

myclimate is committed to protecting the information you provide us. We take reasonable precautions to keep your personal data secure. All personally identifiable information is subject to restricted access to prevent unauthorised access, modification or misuse. Please note, however, that we may release your personal data if required to do so by law, or by search warrant, subpoena or court order. All parties involved in this Travel Offset project are obliged to have similar security requirements.
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data. SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but us. This security measure is working when you see either the symbol of an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser) on the bottom of your browser window.

IV Data Processors and data controller

myclimate collects and processes the personal data (name, e-mail, birth of date, address, offset purchases made and so on).

The company NativeEnergy LLC also processes the data as this company is another partner in the Travel Offset project.

The data controller of the personal data collected through this website is myclimate. Ben & Jerry’s will only receive relevant personal data for further distribution in mailings. Ben & Jerry’s will not receive any further personal data, but will only be provided with a general report regarding the total offset purchases.

The credit card information is collected, processed and controlled by Datatrans. This information is not processed by any third company.

V Use of cookies

Cookies are files or pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. We may use cookies to collect other information during your visit to our website, such as the particular site areas you visit and the products or services you buy through our website.
